Faltan 10 días. Esa es la cifra oficial, pues el en teoría Wacken 2019 se celebra este año del 1 al 3 de agosto. De forma oficiosa, el festival comienza un día antes. Y es que el miércoles 31 comienzan las descargas de metal en la "Holy Metal Land" con seis escenarios a pleno rendimiento desde primera hora de la mañana.

Y es que todo el festival arranca el miércoles a excepción de los tres escenarios principales, lo que no quiere decir que no vaya a haber actuaciones importantes. Hasta 46 grupos repartidos en cinco escenarios actuarán en esta primera jornada. Entre ellas, las bandas españolas: Angelus Apatrida, Crisix, los ganadores de la Metal Battle Drunken Buddha y ya a la noche la fiesta circense de los Alien Rockin' Explosion. Casi nada.

En su XXX Aniversario, Wacken ha querido tirar la casa por la ventana, con 230 bandas incluidas de 46 países distintos en su billing en una lista en la que no se incluyen las actuaciones no musicales, una auténtica barbaridad.
Ha costado, pero creo que por fin, podemos ofrecer el listado definitivo con todos los grupos que repartidos por hasta nueve escenarios harán las delicias de todos aquellos a los que asistimos. Son estos:
